I live in fast paced NY and they try to get their sandwiches out the same way. I ask for green peppers and get 1 strip, that i will never even taste. And yes, they do assume you want or don't want stuff on your sandwich and proceed that way. I asked for a toasted veggie patty - it's the only thing I ever order. They pulled out tasted bread from the oven argued with me that I didn't say patty. So apparently I asked for a toasted veggie, which really means absolutely nothing. No he’s not.
